Rich and Smart are only Perceptions

A famous study was conducted in the Chicago school system some years ago. Educational researchers asked a group of school teachers for their help. The teachers were told that they were chosen for their superior teaching abilities. They were also told that only gifted children would be placed in their classrooms. The teachers were told that neither the children nor their parents would know of the experiment because they wanted to know how gifted children would perform if they did not know they were gifted.

As expected, the teachers reported that the children performed exceptionally well. The teachers reported that working with the children had been absolutely delightful, and they wished that they could work with such gifted children all the time.

There was a hidden agenda for the project. What the teachers did not know was that the teachers did not have exceptional teaching abilities. They were chosen at random. Also, the children were not chosen for their gifted abilities. They too were chosen at random. But because expectations were high, performance was high. Because the children and teachers were perceived as smart and exceptional, they performed exceptionally.

What does this mean? It means that your perceptions of your children and also of your own self can greatly affect the outcome of their and your own lives respectively. In other words, of you can see the genius in your child (or your own mind); you will help your child become richer and smarter. And if you teach your children to have those same perceptions they will stand a better chance of having the rest of the world see the same self-perceptions and treat them accordingly.

And this is where the real education begins. That is why most successful entrepreneurs say, “GIVE YOUR CHILDREN POWER, BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM MONEY.” Help them develop a strong self-perception, and you help them become prosperous, smart and powerful. If they don’t have that, then all the education or money in the world will not help them. If they have that, getting smarter and richer will only get easier.

SWASTIK

The Swastika (from Sanskrit svastika) is an equilateral cross its arms bent at right angles. It occurs today in the modern day culture of India, sometimes as a geometrical motif and sometimes as a religious symbol; it remains widely used in Eastern and Dharmic Religions as Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.

Despite this usage, the symbol has become stigmatized and to some extent taboo in the Western World of its iconic usage by Nazi Germany, and it has notably been outlawed in Germany.

Swastika symbol has a lot of relevance for people in India. Though, Swastik sign is adopted by people of all religions, but it is especially popular amongst the Hindus. The term Swastika has been derived from the Sanskrit word "Svastika", which means well being. Swastika is considered to be a mark of auspiciousness and good fortune. Red Swastika is the sign of Hindus, which depicts a cross with four arms of equal lengths. The end of each of the arms is bent at a right angle. At times, dots are also added between the arms. To know about the meaning and significance of Swastika cross, read on.

Swastika as a symbol, is a line design invented by the vedic sages. Its specific geometry is believed to have some relation with certain natural fields. It is drawn as a cross with equal arms when all the arms are continued as far far again at right angles clockwise. The sublime effects, in terms of cosmic energy currents superimposed in the unique pattern of SWASTIK, correspond to what the Swastik symbolizes - auspiciousness, well being. The CLOCKWISE (dakshinavarta) direction is of significant importance, as it also happens to be the direction of movement(as we see it on the Earth) of the Sun, which rises in the East and sets in the West. The four sides of the swastik thus represents four principal directions.

Scholars of vedic literature also interpret the Swastika symbol as the coded design of the electromagnetic/magnetic energy fields around the solar system's nucleus.

Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu also emphasizes on concentrating at the center of Swastika for at least 6 min. daily to raise your energy level.(Watch Video)

Many more aspects of knowledge, deeper meanings and philosophical teachings and feelings and effects might have been folded in the distinctive and comprehensive design of Swastika. But at the core of it lies the spirit of auspiciousness and well being of every individual, every family, society, nation and the whole creation. It therefore continues to be of universal significance and reverence. What is required is that we grasp its implications and adapt them in all walks of life. Let the auspicious sentiments and teachings encoded in the Swastika be expressed in our aspirations, thoughts and deeds.

Let Swastika not only be worshiped in our Shrines, let it also be enshrined in our hearts and minds as the spirit and light of Saintly sentiments, knowledge and wisdom.

Three Dangerous Myths of Trading

1. The first myth about trading is that you have to identify what kind of trader you are.

("I trade the BSE Small cap" or "I trade Forex.") Wrong!

Trading is about making money, not putting yourself "in a box."

There is no rule that says someone who usually trades stocks can't trade forex.

There is no reason why a forex trader can't take advantage of a run-up in crude by buying oil futures.

I can't tell you how many times someone has said to me something like "I trade the Dow eMini on a one minute chart and I'm getting killed!! What should I do?" The answer is obvious. "Don't trade the Dow eMini on a one minute chart. Trade something else."

Successful traders must have open minds and be versatile. When you are looking for something to trade, you should have only one demand:

"Show me the money!"

The second myth about trading is that you must be able to identify patterns, waves, retracement levels, etc. to be a successful trader. Wrong!

This borders on insanity and is the last thing you want to concern yourself with.

For every successful pattern you show me, I can show you five examples of the same pattern that failed.

This is an invention of the Trading Mafia (those guys who line their pockets by spreading misinformation) to keep you convinced that you need them and can't possibly be a profitable trader on your own.

It kind of reminds me of a book I saw once:

"99 Ways to Beat the Horses."

My though was that if just one of them worked, you wouldn't need the other 98!

The third myth about trading is that you will benefit by paying a trading service and following their trading selections. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

You must understand that trading is a solitary endeavor. You are trading against other traders.

If you were a boxer, would you discuss your next punch with your opponent? Of course not! When I day-trade stocks, I often buy a thousand shares of a stock for a trade. If just one other trader is trying to make the same trade, it could push up the price of the stock I'm trading.

On a thousand shares, a difference of 0.01 in price means that I must pay an extra 10.00 for the stock. A difference of 0.10 means I have to pay an extra 100.00 for the stock.

If I tried to make the exact same trade, at the same time, as say 100 other traders it could cost me thousands of dollars a week in missed trades and bad fills.

If you don't think that the same thing can happen in a huge market, like the forex market, think again. The forex market is segmented by broker, and any forex trader will tell you that bad fills can be a problem.

Media Mind Control

In this media mind control article I explain how media controls your thinking. I also give some advice on how to prevent yourself to be controlled this way.

If you are reading this article it is likely that media mind control subject is not something new to you. But most of the population would be shocked to find out this. Media controls you in such a subtle way that the majority of population would not even believe that this could happen. Media controls you in many ways: through commercials, TV news, newspapers, radio news, movies and sometimes even through the internet.

How does media mind control affect you through commercials?

Do you know that you can be affected by TV commercials even if you shift your focus away from television? This is because commercials are so powerful that through the repeat exposure they affect you on an unconscious level. All you need to hear is 5 seconds of the repeated commercial (you don't even have to see it) and your unconscious mind 'gets the message'.

Next thing you know, you are buying something from a shop you did not even plan to buy!

Commercials are getting more and more sophisticated. Thus they affect your mind to even greater extent. Their repeated exposure lets commercials really sink into your mind, affecting you unconsciously. You may not even notice how often the same commercial is running.

Repeat exposure is the single most powerful tool of convincing. Every big brand knows that. People associate repeat exposure with credibility. They don't even know what impact this exposure is making on them.

You may think that if a commercial is run often, it means that the company selling the product is credible. Thus, the product should be very quality and would not do any harm. This is just how your 'logical' thinking works.

Such company can sell anything to you. The product can be bad or good, it does not matter. Repeat product exposure will convince you that it's quality and good. Is it? It is up to you to decide now:)

Commercials also affect your confidence level. When you are frequently exposed to a certain type of living, you try to strive to live in that particular way. This is where media mind control has a strong hold on people.

For example, in commercials there are many good looking people. This prompts you to strive to look as good as them. Some of you succeed. But what if you cannot look as good as someone on TV? Then you fall into depression, become shy, angry and think that the world is unfair. You stay single as you think that no one would date you... effects are indeed countless.

Do you still think it is so innocent to watch commercials?

As I am now living in the Jaipur and I have noticed that the ads do not include as many very good looking people as in some other countries. The ads usually show every day people. The result? Less super thin women, less shy people, more self-expression.

Although I do not watch TV for a year now, I can still comment from what I remember.

How to protect yourself from commercials affecting you? ...Stop watching TV.

Can't stop watching it? I cannot help you then. There is no other cure from media mind control, I'm afraid!

How does media mind control work through TV news?

This is the worst method to control people. TV news keep people at a very low – Fear – consciousness level. Their message is always the same: “You have to fear as today ..... happened”.

Do not believe that? Before almost every single sentence they say, just add "You have to fear because..." they will let you know what you should be scared of today.

Your argument might be "But everyone is watching news!" My answer to that would be that not everyone is doing that. Yes, the majority of people do, but they are on a low consciousness level. They let media mind control work in their lives.

News silently instil fear in people through sophisticated ways of presenting information. Do corporations behind news consciously try to instil fear? I honestly don't know. I suspect that, but my suspicion is not based on any evidence. I just feel that this might be the case.

It seems that they choose to rather tell bad news than good ones. They would rather tell that someone in some small town was killed, than telling that people have increasing amount of opportunities to become financially free. They would rather give an insight into the scarcity of water in some particular region than inform about unlimited amounts of resources in other regions.

Of course, you may argue that it is bad to be ignorant about subjects I've mentioned above. I happen to disagree with that. You see, the more we think about poverty, the more poverty we create. The more we think about abundance, the more abundance we create.

Don't understand what I'm talking about? You should learn about universal laws. And that topic is too large to cover here.

ou probably get the impression from watching news that there is nothing good happening in the world. That we are all 'doomed'. This is just another nonsense that media mind control impressed on you. The reality is so much different. And you will never understand this unless you stop watching TV.

There are so many good things happening in the world. So many people are becoming millionaires, there are millions of them, and plenty of people are becoming extremely wealthy at this very moment. Finally the inspiration and empowerment can reach you so effortlessly through books and articles of people that experienced that. It is becoming so much easier to travel the world, to understand different cultures and to explore subjects that interest you.

The world is becoming, it is certainly not ending!

Yet... if you are a frequent news watcher my previous words should sound like something too good to be true.

How does media mind control affect you through newspapers?

Newspapers affect you less, but they use the same method as TV news.

The better thing about newspapers is that people are usually bored to read long articles, thus they skip some content. Therefore, they do not absorb all the negative information newspapers have. Media mind control still has a grip on such people.

Newspapers still tempt you to read the contents with shocking pictures and interesting headlines.

Radio news affect you less as you do not see any images associated with the content.

How does media mind control affect you through movies?

Movies usually have different effect than news. There is less media mind control involved. Instead of instilling fear, they maintain your Comfort Zone. see, you can choose whichever movie you like to watch. It is not the same as mixed content that you get in news.

If one movie fits your current comfort zone, you watch it. If the movie promotes lower or higher lever of consciousness, you usually refuse to watch it.

If you want to advance in personal development, movies that maintain your comfort zone will stop your advance.

nd the more you advance, the less movies there are to choose from.

For example, at the time of writing this article, I am on the Acceptance level of consciousness. This is the 12th level of consciousness. Mostly people are in Fear level (the 5th level).

If you feel fear, you still are on the 5th level.

I very rarely watch any movies at all. I could go to the cinema to watch some comedy or a feel good movie, if I wanted. That would probably lower my consciousness level a bit, but I would regain it shortly.

Instead of watching movies, I prioritise my time to create value. I would rather write another article that would raise your consciousness, than waste time staring at the TV screen.

If you are at the level of fear, some movies can actually raise your consciousness. 'The Secret' movie would be the best one to watch at this level. You will feel empowered and in control of your life. You will feel more resistant to the media mind control.

Whenever you feel inspired and feel like you could 'move mountains' , it means you are raising your consciousness level. Keep doing whatever makes you feel this way!

Can media influence you through the internet?

Usually not. Unless you consciously choose to read news and other damaging content.

The great thing about internet is that it can raise your consciousness to a great degree. There are many articles and advice available that can inspire you and make you feel good. Be selective though, because nothing can guarantee if the article was written by a person that knows the subject he is writing about. But you can usually feel if the article is original.

Conclusion

The best decision I've made so far in my life is to stop watching TV. It looks quite innocent to spend couple of hours of your time staring at the screen. But nothing could be further from truth. The reason why it feels 'innocent' to watch some TV is because media mind control works in a very subtle way.

I have noticed that I was slightly addicted to TV watching. So when I stopped I still felt the need to watch it. During that time I kept being resistant and would not watch anything on television. After couple of weeks I began to feel differently.

I started setting different goals for me to achieve, since I had more time to work on myself.

I started realising that I could achieve much more in life than I imagined before.

I started being persistent and organised.

One by one, I achieved my set goals. Life kept getting better and better.

Now there are so many exciting things I want to experience, create and learn! There is absolutely no time for something as useless as TV.

I would rather create value, make difference in people's lives, travel and continuously improve myself.

Life is so beautiful once you get rid of the media influence.

You don't have to compete any more, competition is useless. You are the creator, you provide so much value and originality that you are well above anything that seems competitive.

You feel inspired and happy.

You feel joy and love. You feel great!

Don't believe it? Stop watching TV and you will see what I mean!

If you want to be Rich & Happy then Don't go to School

In developed countries we all receive a basic education that teaches us to read, write and do mathematics. Then we're thrown out into the world, either to sit in a salaried job, to join the ever-growing ranks of the unemployed, or to start businesses that are likely to fail. We are basically cut loose without any skills in securing a job, and with no idea of how to be in business for ourselves.

If this says anything, it says our formal education system has let us down. It doesn't give us important life skills. School for me meant following the traditional rules, only giving people what they expected, and getting ahead by doing the same things as everyone else. I wouldn't call that a recipe for success.

At no stage are we taught how to get a job, or how to earn, keep and use money correctly. Rarely are these things talked about at our schools and universities. Even some of the most highly regarded business courses skirt around the issue. They teach students 'soft' skills, hoping that when they get out into the real world they'll be able to figure it out for themselves.

The truth about Education and Success

Studies of individuals who have above-average wealth show no real correlation between levels of formal education and the ability to make money. Formal education may affect how much you make in a salaried job, but it doesn't affect your chances of real financial independence.

If you look a little closer, however, there is a very strong correlation between one type of education and wealth. Those who have acquired wealth are all well educated in the art of making money. This 'education' wasn't acquired at a conventional school or university. These people gained it at the SCHOOL OF WEALTH.

Attend only the 'SCHOOL OF WEALTH'

Manoj an average student at school, who did a certificate in training and got a job as a trainer in a major firm. After about five years he was on about Rs. 6,00,000 a year and was doing OK. After about eight years he was on Rs.12,00,000 a year, and was paying off a house. Then he started his own training business and retired in three years—at age 35.

Manoj was pretty mediocre in all the usual measures of school success. No-one would have picked him as someone who would retire at 35. But he had something that made the difference. He knew, and did, many of the right things for developing wealth.

Wealth education is difficult to get. The problem is that no formal school of wealth exists. Wealth education is usually acquired by trial and error, by risk-taking, by losses and wins. This can be very time-consuming and very costly. Both financially and emotionally. Every owner of a failed business can vouch for that. The only way to avoid these costly mistakes is to find a successful person who will pass this education on to you.

However, having it passed on to you is very rare. The people who have this knowledge are too few, and too busy, to be able to stop and help others learn. The people who desperately need wealth education cannot afford to pay the tight teachers what they are worth. And unfortunately, these skills can't be picked up overnight. They usually require intimate knowledge and can take years to learn.

To make it worse, in our world of instant gratification, most people don't see an investment in their education as something worthwhile, especially when the pay-off could take more than ten years. It all becomes too hard. It is much easier to sell your time in short bursts of a week or so, and collect a pay cheque.

If you want to be rich study SUCCESS and nothing else

Manoj started his working life by falling into the trap of only seeing the short term. But he soon learnt that investing in his education was priceless. He made it his business to learn from people who were already doing well. This behavior is called 'modelling'. You identify people who do things well, work out how they do it, and then copy them. It sounds simple, but it takes time. Manoj picked out people whose lives and businesses he admired, worked out the strategies they used, and applied them to his life. You've seen the results—from salary slave to financial independence in three years.

The easiest thing you can do is read a successful person's autobiography. But if you are more resourceful, you'll get to meet and learn from these people directly. It's a secret that's been around since civilization began. From Chinese martial arts to Renaissance painting, students have always learnt by emulating the masters.

This is your only short cut to success. Model the successes of people you admire and learn from their mistakes. These people are the ones who have done it all, and can give you invaluable advice on how to earn, keep and use money. It's a price worth paying, no matter how outlandish the cost may seem at the time.

Copycatting the way to Wealth Creation

Each of us is blessed with certain talents and gifts that makes us one-of-a-kind individuals. Some people are great dancers, while others can't tap their feet to the beat. Some of us have a talent of art, while others have trouble drawing a stick figure. Some of us are great athletes, while others can barely walk a straight line without stumbling.

But one thing each and every one of us is good at – WITHOUT EXCEPTION – is COPYCATTING.

When it comes to copycat we are all gifted. We're copycat geniuses!

Copycatting is one trait we all excel at and that we all have in common, no matter where we live, no matter what our individual talents are. It makes no difference whether we are rich or poor… black or white…. male or female.. the one thing we're all great is copycatting.

There are countless differences between cultures, but the one thing every, single culture has in common is the way we go about learning the customs we practice – we COPYCAT! We copycat so much that we take it for granted. Copy catting is so prevalent that its second nature to us, like breathing air. So I ask you again, why haven't we found a way to copycat creating wealth?

Make no mistake about it, copycatting is the most powerful learning tool known to humans! Copycatting impacts virtually every single phase of our lives, from our smallest habits to our life-altering decisions.

For example, we spend a big part of our lives at work. Did you ever stop to consider how you learned to perform the tasks you perform at work? How did you learn to write a letter on the computer? How did you know what to wear to the office? And how did you teach others who were new the job? By teaching them to copycat what you did, isn't that true? The psychologists call it "modeling and mirroring." I call it being a professional copycat!

No questions, we copycat our way through life from the cradle the grave because copycatting is easy to do … we don't have to keep creating everything from scratch all the time … it works … and we're born geniuses at it! The expression "Monkey see, Monkey do" could just as easily be "people see, people do."

That's why I say we live in a world of copycats. If there's one thing every person in this world is good at-it's copycatting!

How we copied Jobs

We even go so far as to copycat how we earn money. For thousands of year children of farmers copycatted their parents and became farmers … children of shoemakers became shoemakers. That's why so many of our last names come from the trades, names like Farmer, Smith, Carpenter, Tailor and so on.

With the advent of the Industrial Revolution, millions of children with last names like Farmer, Smith, Carpenter, Tailor broke away from the trade and headed to the city to copycat a new concept of work-the job. Copycatting the job worked pretty well for several generations, especially in America, the undisputed king of the Industrial Revolution.

Because the first half of the 20th century was overshadowed by two world wars and the great depression, most people were overjoyed to copycat their family and friends and work a nine-to-five job. And as long people's expectation didn't exceed their standard of living, people who copycatted the "gotta-get-a-job" mentality were content with what they had.

Think before you Copycat

Like most everything in life, there's a flip side to copycatting. Just because we copycat something doesn't necessarily make it good… or efficient… or productive. Unfortunately, all too often is an excuse to get lazy in our thinking.

It reminds me of the story about the old shopkeeper on Main Street who placed a grandfather clock in the front window of his store. Over the years the shopkeeper noticed that a distinguished looking man would walk by the store every day at noon… pause in front of the grandfather clock… pull out a pocket watch… and carefully set the time.

One day the shopkeeper's curiosity got the best of him. When the gentle man paused in front of the grandfather clock, the shopkeeper ran out of the store and asked the man why he set his watch each and every day.

The man smiled and replied "I am the foreman at the Town Mill. I blow the quitting whistle at 5:00 pm each day and want to be sure it goes off exactly on time."

The old shopkeeper gave him a startled look – and then burst out laughing. The man stepped back and then asked indignantly, "What so funny?"

"I am sorry." replied the shopkeeper. "I didn't mean to be rude. But I just had to laugh. You see, all these years I have been setting my grandfather clock at your 5:00 pm whistle!"

The story is perfect illustration of the downside of copycatting. We copy others… others copy us…. and all too often we assume that the people we are copying have the "right answer". I repeat, we ASSUME we are copying the right people.

That's exactly what happens when we take a job without really thinking about WHY we took the job. I think most people assume that jobs are the best way to create wealth, when in fact, jobs don't create True Wealth – jobs create Temporary Income. And there's a big, Big difference between the two.

SELF APPRAISAL

A little boy went into a store and reached for the public telephone. Standing on an empty carton--he was too short to reach the buttons—and proceeded to dial the numbers.

The store-owner got curious and listened to the conversation:

Boy: Good morning Ma'am! I'm a boy looking for a part time job... Can I cut your lawn?

Woman: (at the other end): No, I already have someone to cut my lawn.

Boy: O, is that? Lady, I can do the job for half the price you are paying now.

Woman: No, my boy. I'm very satisfied with the person who is presently doing it.

Boy: (with more perseverance) Ma'am, I'll even sweep your curb and your sidewalk, so on Sunday you will have the prettiest lawn in all of Palm Beach.

Woman: No, thank you.

With a smile on his face, the little boy replaced the receiver. The store-owner, who was listening to all this, walked over to the boy. Store Owner: Hmm... Too bad the lady refused! But I like your positive spirit! Good, I can offer you a job.

Boy: No Sir, thanks. I don't need a job. I'm already engaged.

Store Owner: But you were really pleading for one!

Boy: Sir, I was just checking my performance at the job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady I was talking to!

WELL, THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL SELF APPRAISAL

Lessons Learned

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, “How was the trip?”
“It was great, Dad.”
“Did you see how poor people live?” the father asked.
“Oh yeah,” said the son.
“So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?” asked the father.

The son answered: “ I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
" We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.

The boy’s father was speechless.

Then his son added, “Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.”
